Guru Nanak College Budhlada, was established in 1971 with the efforts of the renowned personalities of the area in the holy commemoration of the 5h birth centenary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. With the purpose of propelling this region towards greater progress, the college management committee, in a foresight move, transferred this institution to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib on November 9, 1994. This organization's mission has been to promote Punjab's rural and urban students' overall development through accessible, high-quality education since 1971.This institute has been accredited 'A++' grade by National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC).
When we speak the word Satt(Seven), the colour is automatically associated with it. The number seven itself is charisma. What a beautiful coincidence that even the tones of music are seven, the wonders of the world are also Seven, the days of the week are also Seven. Satranga is the natural charisma just as the Rainbow forms into seven colours when the sunlight passes. In exactly the same way, when students enter the institute, such Seven colours live within them. In our view, these seven colours are the heritage and cultural atmosphere through which the learner lives his tradition/heritage, the religious and moral values from which he develops patience, reliance, contentment and thought in his field, the academic education which provides him with employment, Skill/vocational development from where he gets self-employment while living in the society and enables others to do the same, the use of science, technology and basic technology through which the learner not only connects with the new technology of the new age but also finds new discoveries. In this, the booksellers from different places from Punjab will go to your mind by one’s book affection and the seventh colour of entertainment or mind promotion which has to enhance the charm of his first six colours, provide it manner of living. Students studying in the institute enjoy these seven colours and enjoy the beauty of life.
